Sandy Springs-based YAVAY on the grow, hires key exec

YAVAY, Inc., has named Matthew Brown Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible for using technology to bring the vision of the founders to life as well as managing the technology team.

“Matt is adept at creating and fostering technology that answers market needs,” says Steve Baskin, the CEO and a founding partner of Sandy Springs-based YAVAY TM, “and that makes him a great fit for our team because we’re bringing a $50 billion (annual) industry a solution that is long overdue.”

At its simplest, YAVAY can be thought of as a dating site for brands seeking sponsorship opportunities and properties seeking sponsorship.

“YAVAY gives brands and properties an important tool – Sponsor Wizard TM – so that they can connect and then discuss sponsorship offers directly,” Brown says. “It is exciting to be providing the first comprehensive global marketplace enabling corporate sponsorship decision-makers to find and connect with the most appropriate opportunities for their brands.”

Brown previously led a digital development group that focused on start-ups and small to mid-sized businesses, helping them design and scale software solutions to business needs. And, like all three of YAVAY’s founders and many of its team members, away from the office Brown stays busy with athletic puruits, namely coaching soccer. He and his family reside in Kennesaw.
