Act3 Presents Three Holiday Improv Shows, Saturday

The Sandy Springs playhouse has shows are for children and adults, this coming weekend.

Act3 Productions will present three holiday-themed improv shows on Saturday.

The shows will have content tailored for children and adults starting with a 2 p.m. family-friendly production.

"Forget the tree, Santa, stockings, the yule log, dreidles, the Festival of Lights or whatever you are used to," said Jesse Cramer, Act3's Director of Improv. "This is an excellent way to introduce young children to live theater. Loud and active audience participation is encouraged."

The audience will create a unique holiday tale to Act3's Mainstage Improv Troupe.

Tickets are $5 for children under 12, $8 for seniors and $10 for adults.

The second show, "ESPMprov--The Reindeer Games," starts at 7 pm., performed by Act3's Youth Improv Troupe with audience participation and prizes.

Tickets are $5 for children under 12, $8 for seniors and $10 for adults.  Adults are welcome to return for the evening adult show for only $5.

The final show of the day, the BANSHEE Improv Troupe premiere, will begin at 8:30 p.m. The raucous, audience-participation event is adult improv without a censor.

The show is intended for mature audiences and parental discretion is advised. All tickets are $10. For more information, visit www.act3productions.org.
