There's no charge for document shredding, Saturday, but donations are always appreciated. Keep North Fulton Beautiful, which hosts the event asks for documents from households only. Donations benefit environmental education programs.

Shredding will take place from 9 a.m.-noon, in the Lowes parking lot at 5925 Roswell Road.

Plastic bags wil also be accepted for recycling. There are many types of plastic bags that can be recycled, including some you might not know about. For more information, see www.abagslife.com. 

The event includes giveaways, such as magnets, stickers, and other goodies to promote plastic bag recycling.
