Friday is the best and most profitable day to list your home and guess why. It’s a happy day for prospective buyers. Richard Ryan, professor of psychology at the University of Rochester, told the WSJ that because people are happier on Friday, they tend to make a more proactive decision when they see a home they like. Whereas a home that is first listed on a Sunday will likely not be seen until the following weekend.
Tuesdays are also goods days for home sellers. Buyers start planning home tours early in the weekend.
