National Puppy Day has Tails Wagging in Sandy Springs

National Puppy Day has been observed each year on March 23 since 2006.

It’s National Puppy Day and Sandy Springs Patch wants you tell us about your pup. Founded in 2006 by Collen Paige, an animal behaviorist, National Puppy Day is observed each year on March 23 and seeks to promote awareness about puppy mills and pet adoptions.

You can celebrate National Puppy Day in a number of ways. Share a story about your favorite puppy, past or present, in the comments section below. Upload a photo or video of your pooch to the Sandy Springs Patch Puppy Gallery. Consider making a donation to the Atlanta Humane Society, or visit its at 1565 Mansell Rd, Alpharetta. Call the Atlanta Humane Society at 404-875-5331.

If you really want to get into the spirit of National Puppy Day make today the day you adpot a puppy of your own.
