Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite opens its Strong4Life Teaching Garden today with tours, cooking demonstrations and planting activities by patients.

The hospital partnered with Farmer D Organics to develop the garden for its young patients and families. The garden was designed as a place where they can relax and learn about nutrition and organic gardening. Classes and activities for patients will be held throughout the year.

The name “Strong4Life” is meant to promote nutrition and physical activity to Georgia’s families.
