It's not too late to catch Moliere's classic comedy "The Imaginary Invalid" presented this weekend on the North Springs Charter High School stage by the drama department's acclaimed performing arts magnet program. The play, with a great set, wonderful period costumes and amazing actors will "make you sick with laughter."
The storyline? A famous hypochondriac with mounting medical bills hopes to have free lifetime medical care by arranging his daughter's marriage to a "numb skull" of a doctor. She of course is not consulted and is already smitten by another, thus the comedy ensues.
Showtimes are 2 p.m.and 7:30 p.m., today. Tickets are $20 for VIP, $15 for adults, $10 for children, students, and seniors ages 60 and over and can be purchased online at www.northspringshigh.com and at the school's box office from 12-2pm Friday and one hour before each show.
