Sandy Springs Police assisted in a federal search for “bath salts” and synthetic marijuana at a Smoke 911 shop on Roswell Road, Tuesday.
The location was one of four in the north metro area where federal search warrants were executed. The others were in Roswell, Acworth and Woodstock. The Marietta residences of Michael T. Madlem, owner of the stores, was also searched.
In addition, federal seizure warrants were executed for bank accounts of Madlem, Serena P. Burkard, and Mad Dog USA Enterprises LLC.

Serena was worse than a drug dealer, raising the price when stock got low. pushing people to by more saying they were running out. Batches were never the same. two years ago nobody knew what it was and there were no stores then. I know 2 peole who got hooked, one killed herself.

That place gives legit head shops a bad name. I cannot stand the way they used to operate. I saw a junky get some bath salts "on the front" from one of the employees there. What a horrible place. That kind of shit does not happen at legitimate smoke shops/ adult retailers. Not ever. Smoke 911 never cared about legalities, and this serves them right. Of course, they're already back open. What a joke. Permanently close that crooked business if you don't want these kind of actions to pop back up there.
