Riverwood Students Hold Performing and Visual Arts Showcase

The Sandy Springs students started the showcase in 2001. It's a bi-annual event in which students from all fine art disciplines transform the lobby into a gallery of displays, performances and presentations.

Riverwood International Charter High School hosted their fall Showcase of Performing and Visual Arts (SPAVA) on October 30th in the school’s auditorium lobby.

Students in the music department performed vocal and instrumental music including piano and native Persian percussion ensembles in both original and classical pieces. Students in the visual arts program displayed their repertoire on boards throughout the lobby and were available to discuss their pieces. Many of the participants are Governor’s Honor Nominated students.
