On Friday, police were searching for James Robert King.
James Robert King, who Sandy Springs Police was searching for on sodomy and incest charges, turned himsef into the Criminal Investigations Unit about 7:30 p.m., Friday.
He will be booked into the Fulton County Jail with no bond, according to Sandy Springs Police Lt. Steve Rose. His first appearance will most likely be Saturday.
Arrest warrants for King were taken out earlier this week.
About 10:30 a.m., Friday, detectives went to 5450 Glenridge Drive, #237, to execute search and arrest warrants. They were briefly in phone contact with King who said that he was not at the residence, however his car was located in the parking lot of the apartment complex and there was a reason to believe that he may be in the apartment.
Tactical response teams went to the location as a precaution in the event that King would be in the residence and refuse to comply with the arrest.
At 3 p.m. they entered the apartment however he was not there.
