SOCCER
Katy Koser
Katlyn (“Katy”) Koser, has been recruited as a Midfield/defender to Covenant College, a Division 3 school in the Great South Athletic Conference, in Lookout Mountain, Ga., to play for the Scots’ soccer team.
Katy lives in Flowery Branch. She was named captain of the varsity team, and was recognized as Athlete of the Month for soccer.
Danielle Creamer
Danielle Creamer lives in Roswell. She will play center forward at Berry College in Rome, Ga., for the Vikings soccer team. She is ranked seventh for goals scored out of the 62 scoring players in the Georgia Youth Soccer Association U19 Athena Division in 2012. She has played varsity girl’s soccer for Riverwood for three years.
Alexis de Groot
Alexis de Groot has been recruited to play center midfielder for Elon University, an NCAA Division 1 school, in the Southern Conference, in North Carolina. Selected as 2012 High School Girls All-Region III member by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), one of seven chosen in Georgia. Alexis has won numerous recognitions for soccer both with Riverwood and outside the school.
FOOTBALL
Darius Jenkins
Darius L. Jenkins, of College Park, has committed to play defensive tackle for the Point University Skyhawks in East Point. Darius was selected Scout Team Player of the Year in 2010 and served as the team captain in 2012 as well as Offensive Lineman of the Year.
Aaron McIntos
Aaron D. McIntosh has signed a letter of intent to play safety for Point University football team. While at Riverwood, Aaron was awarded outstanding defensive back and won an honorable mention at All-Region 7-AAAAA. Aaron lives in Alpharetta.
Sheldon Doyle
Sheldon B. Doyle has been recruited to play guard for the Briar Cliff University Chargers in Sioux City, IA. He has excelled in his athletics at Riverwood winning “Hawg of the Week” twice for his performance as an offensive lineman, and has served as a part-time athletic trainer during football season. Sheldon lives in Sandy Springs.
