The winning storefront in the “Sparkle Sandy Springs” holiday decorating contest will be announced during the City Council meeting on Dec. 18.

There’s still time to enter. Judging in the second annual competition will take place on Dec. 15 and 16.  Participating businesses are asked to keep their lights on from 5:30 p.m. to midnight on those dates.

The contest is a joint collaboration of the City of Sandy Springs, Sandy Springs Hospitality and Tourism and the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce.

It's open to all businesses within city limits of Sandy Springs. To enter the contest, businesses must simply submit an online registration form to alert officials that they are participating in the competition. Visit www.sandyspringsga.gov/sparkle.

• Creativity and Originality
• Best Expression of Theme
• Best Use of Lighting
• Best Use of Available Space
• Overall Design Quality and Presentation
