Student Artwork Featured at North Springs' Upcoming Gala
The Sandy Springs school's “Gala for North Springs” will be held from 7-10 p.m., Feb. 10th at Dunwoody Country Club
Arts magnet student Gaby Velez shows off her mixed media painting “Mother Earth” which she is donating to the live art auction for the Gala for North Springs. First though, she is submitting it along with other portfolio pieces to the judges of the prestigious Governor’s Honors Program, for which she is a finalist.

Friends of North Springs, Inc. will host a gala for the high school, next week.
The non-profit was established in 2004, to raise money in support of students, teachers and programs at North Springs Charter High School beyond what public funding can provide.
The “Gala for North Springs” will be held from 7-10 p.m., Feb. 10th at Dunwoody Country Club.
The event includes music performed by the student orchestra and chorus, and a silent auction with student artwork will be emceed by Star 94’s Rob Stadler, a North Springs parent.
Tickets are $100 and available online.
