From Sandy Springs Police Capt. Steve Rose

Sandy Springs Police are on the scene of a serious-injury accident on Johnson Ferry Road at Riverside Drive just inside the line with Cobb County.

Inbound on Johnson Ferry from Cobb will be closed for at least 1-2 hours due to the investigation. Three persons have been hospitalized. No word on conditions.

Johnson Ferry Road into Cobb remains accessible. Eastbound Johnson Ferry Road is being detoured onto Riverside Drive.
