Mosquitoes carrying the West Nile virus have been identified in metro Atlanta, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Eight different traps have captured the insects, which could indicate a pervasive season for the disease carrying insects.
So far, all the traps that have caught them are inside the Perimeter area, but officials are telling everyone to take precautions.
