Sandy Springs is becoming more and more a disaster, I have been living here for over 12 years andRead Moreon ly the last 4 years or so it has gotten so much worse. The traffic is ridiculous. The influx of apartments to house more people, steady growth in crime that we haven't seen before. I give SS about 2 - 3 more years and it will be a bad area to live in.

I have lived in Sandy Springs for eighteen years in the area of the Center City/Johnson Ferry Road. Read More I was sad to see Target, Bruneo's, and Happy Herman's leave the area. I was happy to see Whole Foods and Trader Joe. We have the best police force! The side walks and street lights are a welcome addition. The widening of Abernathy did nothing for the Johnson Ferry traffic. I say build the City Hall on the Target property and stop putting the business that made Sandy Springs out of business. We don't need an excess of mixed use $2000+ per month apartments/store fronts. That will only add more traffic and congestion. Lets get City Walk up and started and be done with it and leave us Sandy Springs folks that have been in this area for decades alone.
