North Springs Charter High School's student government invites students and the Sandy Springs community to the school's third annual Saturday @ North Springs.
The day will be filled with activities including:
5K Race and Fun Run The day opens with a 5K race at 8:30am and a Fun Run on the school's track at 8:40am. Runners can register at active.com or from a link at northspringshigh.com/saturday.
Bagels, fresh fruit and water will be available.
Drive One for Your School The festivities will continue at 9:30am (through 4:00pm) with the Ford Motor Company's national Drive One for Your School promotion. Sandy Springs Ford will provide a fleet of new cars for licensed drivers, 18 and older, to test drive from the school's parking lot.
For every completed registration form, North Springs will earn money towards the goal of raising $6,000, the maximum contribution Ford makes to schools selected for this promotion.
Games, Prizes, Inflatables, Battle of the Bands, Power Puff Football, Food & More From 11am-3pm, enjoy carnival games, prizes, inflatables, booths, food and live entertainment provided by the Battle of the Bands, vocal and instrumental musicians.
Students can also play in a Powder Puff football game.

North Springs Charter High School, which opened in 1963, has math/science and visual and performing arts magnet programs, and offers classes in Mandarin Chinese. North Springs played a role in Sandy Springs' Global Gateway Initiative when a Chinese delegation visited the school with Sandy Springs Mayor Eva Galambos.
