AAUW (American Association of University Women), with its mission to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research, is an over 100-year old nationwide network of over 100,000 members, 1,000 branches, and 500 college/university partners.

Bookfair proceeds have enabled AAUW volunteers to donate over $1million in support of educational endeavors, both locally and nationally.  In the Atlanta metro area, scholarships are awarded to students at local educational institutions, grants are made to community nonprofits, and funding is given in support of local community programs.
