Red Bandanna Pet Food Donates $3,200.11 to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue From “Round-Up” Program

Last month, all 13 Atlanta-area Red Bandanna Pet Food stores participated in a promotion dubbed “Round Up for Rescues” which raised money for the Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, Inc. The goal was to raise $3,000 by having customers “round up” the total of their bill to the next whole dollar amount when they made a purchase at any Red Bandanna Pet Food store, with the difference in the actual amount and the rounded amount donated to the rescue. The final total raised was actually $3,200.11, surpassing the goal by more than $200.

Red Bandanna has 13 locations in Alpharetta, Atlanta, Buckhead, Canton, Marietta, Milton, Norcross, Roswell, Sugar Hill and Suwanee. The store that raised the most money was the Sandy Springs one, located at 216 Johnson Ferry Road. This store raised $628.69 throughout the month of August and also hit the highest single-day total of $86.79.

Pictured is the Johnson Ferry store manager Karen Paul with LuAnn Farrell, the Angels Among Us co-founder, plus Eric Cuomo-Jones, the regional director for Red Bandanna. Paul personally raised the most money of any Red Bandanna sales associate during the promotion, at a total of $487.75 and was also responsible for the one-day high. Cuomo-Jones was responsible for sending out weekly updates and keeping the Team posted on their progress, thus resulting in a competitive, fun atmosphere that had many employees in the run for the most donations collected. 

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer-based organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in Georgia. Red Bandanna Pet Food is a local chain of one-stop shops providing top-quality pet food, supplements, treats, chews, shampoos, accessories and toys for dogs and cats.
