Benefit Concert for Sandy Springs Attorney Recovering From Gunshot Wounds

Adina Parson's husband is accused of shooting her eight times last April.

 

A benefit concert for Adina Parson will be held at Center Stage in Atlanta, Tuesday.

Adina Parson suffered eight gunshot wounds, three in the head, in the late night hours of April 20, outside her apartment at the Residences of Morgan Falls off Roswell Road. Adina is an attorney for the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Her husband, Michael Parson, fled in the following days and was arrested by Texas Highway Patrol for the shooting.

Adina Parson's supervisor, Sid Barrett told WSB-TV News that her colleagues are holding the event to help with the cost of her medical bills and equipment that would help Adina on the long road to recovery. Performers in the benefit concert are Atlanta Institute of Music's All-Star Monster Band and special guest Nathan Arizona.

The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance, 20 at the door.
