Fall Vegetable Gardening Workshop at Heritage Sandy Springs, Saturday

A series of Saturday morning gardening talks is held at Heritage Sandy Springs, this summer.
This Saturday, “Gardening by the Springs” focuses on fall vegetable gardening. This free workshop will cover soil preparation, planning your garden, what grows best in a fall garden, using seed vs. plants, mulching and weed control, watering best practices, fertilizing and pest control, plus additional resources.

The workshop is presented by Heritage Sandy Springs, UGA Cooperative Extension and the North Fulton Master Gardeners. Seasoned experts and first-time gardeners are welcome, an announcement said.
