  • "Rio" at Movies by Moonlight. Join Sandy Springs Patch for a free movie presented by Leadership Sandy Springs. The animated movie, Rio, will start at dark and take place in the heart of Sandy Springs on the terraced lawn of Sandy Springs United Methodist Church’s Hitson Activity Center.   • Riverwood Varsity Football vs. Decatur. Watch the Raiders take on Decatur at this home varsity football game. Friday, 7:30 p.m. at , 5900 Heards Drive, N,W.
  • Bollywood Dancing Fitness Class. Learn the basic techniques and movement of Bollywood dancingin this free class for adults, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at , 395 Mount Vernon Hwy, N.E.
  • Community Action Center Thrift Boutique Sale. Support the Community Action Center and score some great deals during their end-of-season sale. Friday and Monday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Community Action Center Thrift Boutique, 1130 Hightower Trail.

 

  • Concerts by the Springs. Don’t miss Concert by the Springs, the free monthly outdoor, summer concert series. This month, The Return, a Beatles cover band, is performing live.
