Heritage Sandy Springs Museum 2014 Turtle Tours

Through stories, hands-on exhibits, songs, and crafts, Museum mascots "Sandy" the Chipmunk and "Spring" the Turtle will introduce preschoolers to history.

Heritage Sandy Springs Museum has announced the 2014 Turtle Tours program, an educational series for preschoolers ages 2-5. Through the Turtle Tours program, hundreds of young learners are introduced to area history and the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum each year.

Through stories, hands-on exhibits, songs, and crafts, Museum mascots “Sandy” the Chipmunk and “Spring” the Turtle will introduce preschoolers to history.

Based on the Smithsonian Institution’s Early Enrichment program, Turtle Tours are held one Saturday each month at 11 a.m. Reservations are not required. 

The program is free, but donations are encouraged. Turtle Tours are scheduled for the following Saturdays in 2014:
