Hadassah Presents Women's Heart Health Forum

The free program featuring information women and coronary heart disease is held on Sunday. Nancy Falchuk, Hadassah National President, will discuss the new cardiac center at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem.

 

"Raising Awareness, Empowering Women, Saving Lives" is the theme of The Women’s Heart Health Forum, Sunday afternoon, nearby Sandy Springs at Congregation Beth Shalom.

The free program features information on women and coronary heart disease in the United States and how Georgia is ranked, risk factors for heart disease and the signs and symptoms of a heart attack, advances and ways to reduce the risk of developing heart disease.

The event by Greater Atlanta Hadassah in cooperation with Hadassah’s Department of Health and Wellness and Congregation Beth Shalom Sisterhood is held from 2:15-4:30 p.m., at 5303 Winters Chapel Road. Arrive early for the silent auction. Proceeds benefit education and cardiac research at Hadassah Hospital.

Nanette Wenger, M.D., professor of medicine in cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine is keynote speaker and Nancy Falchuk, Hadassah National President, will discuss the new cardiac center at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem.
