Melon & The Mayhem To Perform at Rhythm & Brews Concert Series

The band, which includes Sandy Springs native and lead singer Mary Ellen "Melon" Klein, will perform at the concert series sponsored by Heritage Sandy Springs.

The next installment of Heritage Sandy Springs' Rhythm & Brews will include a performance by Melon & The Mayhem.

The Nashville-based indie pop band will play on Thursday, June 26. 

The band, which blends 1940s cabaret singer style with big band jazz, includes lead singer Mary Ellen "Melon" Klein, a Sandy Springs native and graduate of Riverwood International Charter School. 

Heritage Sandy Springs' Rhythm and Brews concerts feature both up-and-coming and established artists whose origins are deeply rooted in the region. 

The concert will be held at the ​Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn at Heritage Green, which sits at 6110 Bluestone Road.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the concert from 6:30 to 8 p.m. 

Admission is $5 for ages 21 and up, $2 for ages 13 to 20 and free for ages 12 and under.  ​ ​

Blankets, picnics and coolers are welcomed. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Parking is available on Sandy Springs Place in designated parking lots.
