Nearby Sandy Springs: Loving Landon Seeks Playful Home

Landon is this week's Atlanta Humane Society-Mansell Campus Pet of the Week.

This week the Atlanta Humane Society is featuring Landon as our Sandy Springs Patch pet of the week. We chose this sweet boy for his loving demeanor and playful personality.

He has been living with us and patiently awaiting his future home since August of this year. He is a beautiful hound mix with brown splotches on a white coat and, at seven months old, only weighs twenty-eight pounds. He still has a little growing left to do but will be a nice medium-sized dog.

Landon doesn’t understand why he hasn’t found a home yet because he is everything you could want in a pup. He is usually a calm boy but also enjoys playing with toys in the yard and playing with other dogs. Due to Landon’s love of dogs he would make a great second dog for any family.

Landon will happily curl up next to his people or chase toys if you prefer, but don’t expect him to bring them back! Landon also enjoys splashing away in the kiddie pools.

This is one fun boy who is looking for a family that will treasure his gentle nature as well as his playful side. Landon is still a puppy and would benefit from structure and training but he has already started learning and can sit on command. With proper instruction and motivation Landon will catch on quickly to learning good manners because he is a very smart boy.

Landon has been neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, dewormed and tested negative for heartworms. He is ready to go home with his new family and would love for you to visit him at the shelter!

Please bring your whole family, dogs too, to meet this special boy. Landon resides at the Atlanta Humane Society’s Mansell campus located at 1565 Mansell Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30009. An adoption application can be filled out at our facility and we can be contacted at 404-875-5331 with any questions.
