Sandy Springs Recycling Center Open for Christmas Tree Drop-offs

The recycling center has already experienced a flow of of folks dropping off Christmas trees.

 

The Sandy Springs Recycling Center is open for drop-offs of Christmas trees, unwanted holiday decorations and more. Decorations must be separated from trees in advance.

Regular hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday; 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday.

Forms are available for free mulch from Davey Trees. A special "Bring One for the Chipper" event will be held Saturday. Trees will be chipped into mulch by The Davey Tree Expert Company. The mulch will be used for public beautification projects.
