Sandy Springs Woman Dominates Field at REV3 Triathlon

Lyn Reagan dominated her age group in the Olympic distance at the REV3 Triathlon in Knoxville, Tennessee, on May 18.

Sandy Springs resident Lyn Reagan last month competed in the REV3 Triathlon in Knoxville. 

The triathlon was held on May 18. 

Reagan dominated the 70-74 age group with a first place victory in the Olympic distance. She completed 0.9 miles of swimming, 25 miles of biking, and 6.2 miles of running in 4 hours and 24 minutes.

In honor of her father who died of leukemia, Reagan raised over $2,700 in the lead up to the race to donate to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Reagan is partner emeritus at Bennett Thrasher LLP, one of the largest accounting and tax firms in Atlanta, located near Cumberland Mall.

She’s worked for the Agency for International Development in the United States State Department, handled scheduling and appointments for President Lyndon B. Johnson, and assisted in the presidential transition from Lyndon Johnson to Richard Nixon.
