Shy Kitty Needs a Home

Dolly is this week's Atlanta Humane Society-Mansell Campus Pet of the Week.

Nearby Sandy Springs: This week AHS wants to highlight Dolly a petite, medium-haired cat. She is one and a half years old and is small, weighing only five pounds full grown. She has a soft, white coat with a tail that looks like it has been dipped in grey paint! Dolly is a sweet girl who loves to be petted but is also very shy.

Dolly spent some time in foster care and was reported to get along fine with other cats but did get scared by overly excited dogs. She is sweet and gentle but is shy and scared and does like to hide. Dolly would do best in a home that is experienced with cats and willing to understand her shy nature and accept her just the way she is. On her own she will likely hide most of the time. However, if you are willing to scoop her up, she will happily purr and snuggle in your lap. This little girl is just waiting for the right home who will provide her with the understanding and care she needs.
