This Week: Design Review Meeting Off, Collections for Tossed Out Treasures Continues

The Design Review Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday morning has been canceled. The Community Development Department did not receive plan submissions before the Feb. 22 deadline, according to a statement by city planner, Linda Abaray.

The next meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m., March 22 at City Hall.

Meetings and events this week include:

• Board of Appeals Meeting, 7 p.m., Thursday at City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road, Bldg 500.

•  The Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce’s Networking at Noon event is held from 11:15 a.m.- 1 p.m., Thursday at Food 101, 4969 Roswell Road.  Cost is $12 and includes lunch and a beverage.

• continues from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through March 17. Gently used clothing, accessories, jewelry, antiques and more are donated for the Sandy Springs Society’s Tossed Out Treasure sale on March 24. Bring items to North River Shopping Center at 8767 Roswell Road.
