The special event features free admission to the nature center, Saturday, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Local alpaca wool will help them create their next masterpiece. Help young artists get started by purchasing creatively made hair bows and accessories perfect for the tween on your list. Keep skin healthy and glowing with bath and body products such as whipped shea butter, handmade vegan soaps and bamboo cleansing cloths. A hand-made leather case is the perfect accessory to help protect that iPhone or KindleFire. A unique glass sculpture will stand out and take center stage in any wintertime garden. Decorate your tree with bird ornaments made from recycled sweaters – pick your favorite local bird!

All this and more, including beautiful handcrafted wooden pieces, glass ornaments, reusable lunch totes, teas, herb bundles and jewelry galore will also be available.

Not only can you purchase gifts for everyone on your list, you can also enjoy the sights and sounds of winter at CNC. Take a stroll in the woods, meet our live, non-releasable animals up close and shake off the stress of the holidays.

Enjoy a scrumptious lunch with desserts in our specialty café featuring the Douceur de France restaurant. Visit the Discovery Center & Nature Exchange and shop in the Nature Store, fully stocked for the nature lovers in your family with books, games, puppets, toys and other items.
