Youth Leadership Sandy Springs Holds Graduation

The Youth Leadership Sandy Springs recently held its graduation for the 2013-14 class at Glenridge Hall.

The class was made up of 34 students from eight schools, who all completed a year-long study of the Sandy Springs community. 

Open to high school students, the program involves students exploring various aspects of Sandy Springs, such as its government, environment, social service agencies, public safety and economic development.

Classes meet in various locations such as City Hall, on the Chattahoochee River, behind the scenes at the police department, in jail, courtrooms and inside historic homes. 

Students work with business, civic and government leaders to understand what shapes our community.
