Harry Shearer Documentary Continues Through Saturday

"The Big Uneasy" will be screened through Saturday at Lefont Theaters.

Actor, director Harry Shearer presented his new documentary, “The Big Uneasy” at , Monday evening.

Afterwards, Shearer appeared in a Q&A session.

The film follows the idea that effects of Hurricane Katrina were man-made rather than a natural disaster. Shearer interviewed investigators and New Orleans residents, and he believes the city’s levees were too weak for the force of the storm.

Shearer is a part-time New Orleans resident.

Monday's was the first of five screenings, this week.

Proceeds from the film benefit Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper.
