An Evening of One-Act Plays

Act3 Productions, the professional-level community theater based in Sandy Springs, will present An Evening of One-Act Plays, Friday-Sunday, Sept. 28-30 at the Act3 Playhouse at 6285-R Roswell Road.  The performances will include two plays each by American playwrights Christopher Durang and David Ives, ranging from comedy to parody to thought-provoking, and are suggested for high school age students and adults (rated PG-15 for adult content and language).  Performances are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.  Tickets are $10 for students and $18 for adults, and may be purchased at www.act3productions.org or by calling 770/241-1905.  Reserved seating is available for an additional $5 per ticket.

The plays by Christopher Durang are For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls and The Actor's Nightmare, and the plays by David Ives are English Made Simple and Sure Thing.
