TEEN "CREATE IT" THEATER SUMMER CAMP (Boys/Girls Ages 11-14)
One week session: Monday-Friday 7/16-7/20/2012
The theater is calling you! Participants will create everything in their production from the commercials to their actual play performance at the end of the session! Through interactive, team-based acting exercises participants are led on an exciting adventure of their imagination through interpersonal relations. Camp will focus on utilizing the creative process and providing an opportunity to develop imaginative and performance skills. Lessons encourage teamwork, listening and communication skills, emotional mastery and confidence boosting, creativity and building performance skills, and a greater appreciation of the arts. As the session progress, each group of kids learns to support and encourage each other, to affirm choices and ideas, and create fun, positive scenes.

Participants bring their own lunch (except on Friday when a pizza party will be provided), snacks and drinks each day.
Monday-Thursday 10:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. AND Friday* 10:00 am-5:00 pm (*4:30 Friday performance for family and friends)
