Wind Down Wednesdays

Sandy Springs presents Wind Down Wednesdays, a mid-week series of outdoor concerts in the heart of Sandy Springs. Come unwind after work and enjoy great music, local food, and beer and wine. Hang out with old friends, make some new ones, and avoid rush hour traffic all at the same time. Now in its fifth year, this open-air concert series features the following bands:

“We are looking forward to celebrating the 5th anniversary of Wind Down Wednesdays with such an amazing line-up this summer,” said Christy Nickles, Heritage Sandy Springs Special Events Director. “From Bon Jovi to Led Zeppelin, the park will be rocking out to upbeat cover songs appealing to the whole family.”

 

The Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn is located on the corner of Sandy Springs Place and Bluestone Road, next to CityWalk. Blankets, picnics and coolers are welcomed.  Pets and smoking are not allowed.  Parking is available on Sandy Springs Place in designated parking lots and in the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church’s Hitson Activity Center lot, on Sandy Springs Circle.  Gates open at 6:00; concerts begin at 6:30. Admission is $5 for adults (21 and over); $2 ages (13-20) and free for ages 12 and under.
