Five Things To Do This Weekend: Comedy, Book Signing, Play Closes at North Springs

  • North Metro Republican Women and Chattahoochee Republican Women’s Club host a book signing with Congressman Tom Price. 5920 Roswell Road NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 (Fulton County Republican Party Headquarters) 10:15-11:15 a.m., Saturday.
  • Do you know the official state mammal or the state song? Through February learn all about Georgia from the State Seal to the state shell at the . 11 a.m., Saturday. Fee.
  • Tour the community - Primary, Lower, Middle and Upper schools. Administrators, faculty, coaches and chaplains will all be on hand to discuss the programs and opportunities students enjoy. 1 p.m. in the main gym.
  • It's closing weekend for "Metamorphoses.” The show is so popular, the school extended its run. Audience members are seated on stage around a pool constructed by North Springs students. The innovative production at includes eight Greek myths, all with water symbolizing transformation. The work is adapted by Mary Zimmerman from the Ovid poem by the same name. Additional shows at 7:30 p.m. have been added on Jan. 26-28.
