Shopping. A boutique sale at the Thrift Shop promises a wide selection of new and gently worn clothing for the entire family They also sell accessories and small home goods. is open to the public and CAC clients.  Open all day Friday. 1130 Hightower Trail.

A pre-spring ranger-led walk is being offered at the Chattahooche River National Recreation Area. Learn about the history and importance of Native Americans in the area, and see early spring flowers. The walk starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The recreation area parking lot is located at 1978 Island Ford Parkway in Sandy Springs.

Comedian Jeremy Hotz brings his laid-back humor to . Canadian born Hotz recently, headlined the Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland Comedy Festivals, and was awarded the Jury Prize - Best International Performer at the Sydney Comedy Festival.
