AirWatch Investment of $200 Million Speaks to Mayor's Vision of Fortune 500 Firm

The mobile tech firm plans to bring 800 jobs to Sandy Springs over the next two years.

 

Mayor Eva Galambos says AirWatch is a company to keep your eyes on.

The company just received a $200 million investment from Insight Venture Partners, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution story. Part of the funds will be used for innovation and global growth, the story said.

“I think you’re looking at maybe the future of another Fortune 500 company in Sandy Springs,” said Galambos during her State of the City address on Monday. 

Galambos spoke during a Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber breakfast.

AirWatch is located on Perimeter Center West. The company designs solutions to simplify mobility, including enterprise-grade mobile device management, mobile application management and mobile content management.
