Frugal Family: Spooky Free Halloween Deals

Celebrate Halloween by taking advantage of great deals starting this Friday.

  • IHOP

Deal:  Visit from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday, and kids, 12 & under, get a free Scary Face Pancake.

Good through: Good only from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday.

  • Willy’s Mexicana Grill

Deal: Bring your kids, 12 & under, to this Saturday through Monday, dressed in costumes and they’ll get a free kid’s combo when you purchase an adult entrée.

  • Pumpkin Carving Stencils

Deal: Print a large variety of free pumpkin carving stencils from Better Homes and Gardens. Site registration is free, but required, to access stencils ranging from faces to dog breeds to more intricate designer stencils.

Deal: Let your kids get creative this Halloween weekend at with events including free face painting on Saturday from 11 a.m. to Noon and Free Make-It Take-It Halloween Crayola Pumpkin Patch event from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Complete listing of events.

  • Applebee’s

Deal: Get half-off appetizers at on Halloween from 5 p.m. to close. For adults, there are drink specials this month including $5.75 Samuel Adams Octoberfest Brewtus, $3.49 Witches Brew Tea and $2 Caramel Apple & Zombie Jell-O Shots. There will also be an adult costume contest on Halloween from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Best costume receives a $50 Applebee’s gift card and a Samuel Adams cooler.
