Small Sandy Springs Firm Named Best Place to Work

Mulling Corporation was named the no. 1 place to work among small businesses in a survey by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Considering the current economic times, many folks are content to be employed. According to a survey, staff at Mulling Corporation are more than content, they are happy in their work/life environment at the Sandy Springs firm.

In September, the executive coaching company received high marks in the Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2011 Best Places to Work survey. Mulling was ranked no. 1 in the "small employer" category.

“If you find out the needs of your employees and how to meet those needs, they’ll be more motivated and content at work,” said chairman Emory Mulling, in a statement. “It’s a simple philosophy but a lot of employers don’t do it.”

Mulling, who lives in Sandy Springs, founded the company of 16 employees in 1986.

In the survey, an employee wrote, “Mulling Corporation develops its employees to maximize their existing skills and also makes the effort to develop new ones.”

The Atlanta Business Chronicle included 482 companies and organizations, in the annual survey.
