Yoforia Owners to Donate This Evening's Proceeds to CURE Childhood Cancer

After attending a benefit performance by the Riverwood High School Choral Team, the Sandy Springs business owners were inspired to give back to the community too.

This evening, owners Sheryl and Steve Matton are throwing a party for the community and the Riverwood High School choral team, at its store located in Whole Foods shopping center.

From 6:30-9 p.m., 10 percent of the proceeds for yogurt purchases will go to Riverwood CURE Benefit Concert funds.

“One of the reasons we opened this store is we wanted to give back [to the community], said Sheryl Matton. “My Husband, Steve, is a two-time cancer survivor.’

Last Saturday, the choral team performed a benefit concert for CURE Childhood Cancer. More than 250 people attended the event pegged, “Music for CURE.”

“They normally do this concert to raise money for their spring break, [which is when they tour.] This year they did it for CURE,” Matton said.
