Resurgens Orthopaedics celebrates 15 years serving metro Atlanta

Resurgens Orthopaedics — Georgia’s largest orthopaedic practice — celebrated 15 years of orthopaedic excellence serving the metro Atlanta community on Tuesday, July 1, 2014.

Resurgens co-president, Dr. Kay Kirkpatrick, says the practice is grateful to be a part of such a diverse and vibrant community as Atlanta.

“This anniversary is truly an incredible milestone for us,” said Dr. Kirkpatrick. “Atlanta is such an amazing place for Resurgens to call home, and we value every day that we are able to serve the wonderful people who live here. We are proud to celebrate the past 15 years, but we are even more excited at what the future holds for us and the residents we serve.”

Resurgens, PC was officially formed in 1999 when a group of seven local physician practices merged. After that merger, Resurgens was led by Dr. John C. Garrett who had the vision to provide excellent, innovative, patient-focused, and comprehensive orthopaedic care to the greater Atlanta community. Resurgens’ newest leader, Dr. Douglas Lundy, co-president, will continue to guide Resurgens through the ever-changing healthcare environment with the same core values in mind.

“Resurgens has an outstanding group of physicians and employees who keep the group’s values at the center of all they do,” said Dr. Lundy. “In the uncertain world of changing healthcare, Resurgens will not forget the ideals we were founded on, and we will continue to evolve in order to stay on the forefront with our orthopaedic services."
