UHY LLP Adds BlackLine Systems Co-Creator Jeff Adler as Consultant

UHY LLP announced the addition of Jeff Adler as a consultant in the firm’s Advisory practice, focusing on implementing and optimizing BlackLine Systems for clients. He is a part of the Atlanta office, serving UHY clients nationwide. Adler brings to the firm exceptional experience in BlackLine Systems software and related training, sales demonstrations, public speaking and implementation.

Adler will be assisting clients in maximizing the benefits of BlackLine Systems software, and helping in process transformation for all parts of the accounting organization. BlackLine is the first commercial software-as-a-service (SaaS) application designed specifically for tracking and completing balance sheet account reconciliations.

Before joining UHY, Adler was Vice President, Product Specialist at BlackLine Systems. He also spent six years on the audit staff at PricewaterhouseCoopers and many years in financial accounting and management. Adler has also served as:

●      Chief Financial Officer for a publicly traded real estate development company

●      District Controller for a waste management company with an annual revenue of $600 million

●      Manager of Financial Reporting for Total, a global energy company

●      Independent Financial Consultant assisting with SOX compliance and operational reporting

A long-time Detroit resident now residing in the Los Angeles area, Adler has maintained his ties to the city through continuing charitable contributions there. He is a long-time theater enthusiast who most recently appeared in a community theater adaptation of “All the King’s Men.”

Adler received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University, and his Masters of Business Administration from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University. He lives in Santa Monica, California.
