  • The Concourse Athletic Club hosts a holiday market featuring unique gift ideas from local artists and even a special visit from Santa Claus. No reservations required. 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday. Photos with Santa from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. 8 Concourse Pkwy.
  • Gymnastics Showcase at Hammond Park with artistic and rhythmic performances. Recreation instructors will be on hand with information on programs. 1 p.m., Saturday. Hammond Park Gym, 705 Hammond Drive. Free.
  • Spruilll Gallery Holiday Market. Shop for unique and locally crafted gifts and decor - holiday gifts, wood, jewelry, ceramics, glass and bath. 10 a.m.-6 p.m., today and Saturday; noon-5 p.m., Sunday. , 4681 Ashford Dunwoody Road.
  • Funnyman Craig Shoemaker at The Punchline. The stand-up comic has been known to recall the crazy candy he used to eat, “waxed lips, jawbreakers,” “pop rocks.”  Friday through Sunday. Call for showtimes and prices.  280 Hilderbrand Drive.
  • Jazz at Café 290. Keyboardist William Green with a special holiday benefit for needy children, on Friday. Saxman Reggie Hines on Saturday, and saxophonist Gary Harris leads his All Star Jazz Jam with vocalist Robin Latimore on Sunday.  $10.  290 Hilderbrand.
