Patch staff across the country have been giving back to the community, this week, through its Give 5 volunteer initiative.
Sandy Springs Patch picked up trash at Morgan Falls Dam and met Laurie Berger, who said she fishes there a couple of times per week and also picks up trash.
"There are good fisherman and bad fisherman," said Berger. "You just have to do what you can."
Berger said she has lived in Sandy Springs for 50 years.
As I continued on picking up trash, Berger said, "Don't get everything, leave some for me."
