Defensive Shotgun Fundamentals
This course is tailored to both new and regular shotgun shooters who
desire a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of safe shotgun
handling & operation, from a defensive viewpoint. The course begins
with a review of firearms safety and the fundamentals of shooting,
geared towards shotguns, and then progresses into instruction on shotgun
patterns, different ammunition types, different weapons systems, and
sighting systems. Students will then employ the skills and techniques
taught during the classroom portion of the class, in the range through
challenging drills designed to improve the student’s ability to
effectively engage risks under a variety of conditions. This is a
must-take class for anyone who uses a shotgun in a defensive capability,
such as home defense or on-duty.

One day, three-hour course. Course cost: $150.00 with a NON
REFUNDABLE $50 charge at registration; the balance will be satisfied at
the time of the course. Includes range fees, guns (limited availability
if you don't have one), targets, eye and ear protection. Students need
minimum of 100 shells (Including 10+ Slugs and 10+ 00Buck, the rest #6
shot or above) of ammunition (not included) and the course is limited to
