Act3 Productions Presents The Arabian Nights

Act3 Productions, the professional-level community theater based in Sandy Springs, will present The Arabian Nights Thursday-Sunday, Feb. 14-17, and Friday-Sunday, Feb. 22-24.  All performances will be held at the theater’s state-of-the-art Act3 Playhouse, 6285-R Roswell Road, behind Trader Joe’s in Sandy Springs Plaza.  General admission tickets are $18 for adults and $10 for seniors and students.  Reserved seats are $23 for adults and $15 for seniors and students.  General admission tickets on Industry Preview Night, Thursday, Feb. 14, are $13 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.  Tickets may be purchased by phone at 770-241-1905, or online at www.act3productions.org.

Based on The Book of the Thousand and One Nights by Mary Zimmerman, The Arabian Nights blends some of the book’s lesser-known tales with the recurring theme of how the magic of storytelling has the power to change people.  This adaptation straddles time, moving from mythical Arabian times to the modern-day Middle East.  It’s recommended for teens and older, and will be directed by Brian Clowdus, executive/artistic director of Serenbe Playhouse.
