Based on The Book of the Thousand and One Nights by Mary Zimmerman, the play blends some of the book’s lesser-known tales with the recurring theme of how the magic of storytelling has the power to change people. This adaptation straddles time, moving from mythical Arabian times to the modern-day Middle East. It’s recommended for teens and older, and will be directed by Brian Clowdus, executive/artistic director of Serenbe Playhouse.
