Bethlehem: A Christmas Story

For twenty years, St. John United Methodist Church, your neighbor at 550 Mt. Paran Road, has brought the story of the birth of Christ alive for you, your children and your grandchildren, through their annual Walk Through Bethlehem.  Revamped several years ago, Bethlehem:   A Christmas Story still delights audiences young and old with the re-creation of the city of Bethlehem, complete with Roman Soldiers in the marketplace, camels, donkeys, sheep and goats in the pastures and hillsides, rooftop angels and the stable behind the Inn where baby Jesus is lying in the manger.  The sanctuary is open for quiet meditation and music and the fellowship hall is warmly lit by candlelight where warm drinks and cookies are served.  This year, we will hold our event on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  We hope that you will once again join us in this celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
